Hello there!
I’ve received some inquiries on how to become a partner/driver for Uber Manila. Uber themselves will tell you how.

UBER MANILA OPEN INFO SESSIONS
When: 12nn-1pm, Jan. 21-23
Where: 11/F SM Aura Tower 26th St. cor McKinley Parkway, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig
RSVP here in their Facebook Event.
Note: Since a lot of people as signified interest, ONLY the first 50 people will be accommodated per session on a FIRST-COME-FIRST SERVED basis. So be there on time!
Also, before they had this Open Info Sessions every day this week, the schedule was every Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 12nn-1pm,11/F SM Aura Tower, BGC, Taguig. Not really sure if they’ll discontinue this after the open info sessions this week.

Hi Brix, No official announcement yet from Uber re the next schedule of Open Info Sessions. However, before they publicly advertized these schedules, the usual schedule is every MWF 12-1pm (not so sure though if they still hold info sessions in this schedule). Will update here once they announce.

They’re supposed to accommodate you yesterday (until the rest of the week) since they announced that there will be an Info Session from Mar 2-6.

Uber Info Session regular schedule is Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12PM to 1PM at the 11th Floor, SM Aura Tower, 26th Street Corner McKinley Parkway, Bonifacio Global City.

I’m nelson i want to apply to be a uber partner driver, we bought a hyundai accent hatch crdi and hopefully release it this coming Thursday. can you accept the unit for uber? as i read your profile, you required NBI Clearance and PNP Clearance. the problem is here in Marilao Bulacan they cannot issue PNP Clearance instead of Police Clearance.
I’ve been in Municipality and ask them where can i get a PNP Clearance but they say Police Clearance is a PNP Clearance? one of the Police station near to us is not issuing PNP Clearance they advise me to go to Municipality and get the Police Clearance but I already have one.
any suggestion or advise from you how and where can i get a PNP Clearance here in Marilao Bulacan?

Just an update, Uber no longer holds Partner Info Sessions. Refer to this article:

But you can still sign up to be a Partner. It’s not a requirement to attend the Partner Info Session anyway.

hi. i’m interested to be an Uber partner. I currently have a Ford Fiesta 2014 na hatchback. Based on the list of vehicles accepted, Ford Fiesta is accepted but is it only the sedan or pwede din po ba ang hatchback since 4-door naman sya.

Usually Uber activation around 2-3weeks. LTFRB ACCREDITATION is a different story, we got our Provisional Authority after about 1.5months upon submission of documents.

Check if you can login sa Uber PArtner Driver App. If makalogin na yung driver sa Uber Partner Driver App, ok na.
Make sure you 1) have submitted complete TNVS requirements 2) have an active driver who have attended onboarding (this can be you if you’re a PArtner-Driver) 3) have an active vehicle in your account.

For us it took 1.5 months since submission of requirements to Uber.

There’s no fee to register with Uber. Uber only takes 25% service fee from your gross fares when you start driving. However, there is fees for LTFRB TNVS accreditation which costs around Php 5000. But Uber will process this on your behalf and charge you after submission which they deduct from your payout. So there’s no cash out to register and get activated in Uber.
